Austin, Texas--Congressional candidate Derrick Crowe today released the following statement in response to Texas House Rep. Jason Isaac, R-Texas, announcing he is running for the Republican nomination for the 21st District of Texas. Crowe is running as a Democrat to replace Smith in Texas’ 21st Congressional District.
“The people of this district had an absentee representative for years in Lamar Smith. The last thing they need is someone trying to replace him who doesn’t live in the district.
“We are taking our case for inclusive, progressive values to the people of Texas 21, and we look forward to debating the future of this district with anyone the radical right puts forward.”
